The Music Hall is proud to present its 27th Annual Kitchen Tour, this year returning to Portsmouth's walking-friendly Little Harbor neighborhood, boasting newly renovated kitchens on every block. A perfect get-together for Mother's Day weekend, this is the tour for people considering a renovation project or for those just curious about the area's top kitchen designs and trends. See how local turn-of-the century abodes have been renovated to showcase dream kitchens of all shapes and sizes. Be inspired by contemporary and classic styles created by the Seacoast's top designers and builders. If you are looking to turn your own kitchen goals into reality, the craftsmen, artisans, designers, and architects involved will be on-site throughout the day of the tour to help you with design questions and inspiration.

"The Kitchen Tour is a perfect way to enjoy a spring Saturday on the Seacoast while supporting The Music Hall. We can't wait to welcome our guests this year- the perfect Mother's Day treat!," says Ashleigh Tucker, tour Special Events Manager.

To start your tour - buy tickets early + map features local restaurants. It's best to buy your tickets early, as there is a discount on all tickets purchased before the day of the Tour. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at TheMusicHall.org, over the phone at 603.436-2400 or at B2W Box Office at the Historic Theater on 28 Chestnut St. in downtown Portsmouth.

On the day of the tour, guests are given an easy-to-follow map and a guidebook with detailed descriptions of the kitchens as well as information on all of the artisans, designers, and architects responsible for layout and design. Maps are available to pick up at the box office starting May 1st or on The Music Hall website. Tour-goers can check their maps to identify some great area restaurants to grab a bite for lunch in downtown Portsmouth.

On the Tour - local artisans available to talk

For visitors looking to turn their own dreams into reality, the artisans, designers and architects involved in designing the featured kitchens are noted in the tour's guidebook. Many of the artisans will be present in homes on the day of the tour and are available to speak with guests.

About the Kitchen Tour

Approximately 1,200 visitors attend The Music Hall's Kitchen Tour each year to get a peek inside the contemporary or traditional homes of a historic Seacoast town, and to gain ideas for their own kitchens. Proceeds from the popular tour - now in its 27th year - are used toward operating costs to support The Music Hall. The tour highlights the work of local companies including architects, builders, carpenters, and lighting, landscape and sound designers. In addition, local retail shops and restaurants support the tour through ticket sales and special promotions.

Kitchen Tour All-Volunteer Committee

The dedicated 2018 Kitchen Tour Committee, chaired by Ann Kendall and Cori McGrath, with Kristin Martin, Lauren McGovern, Ashleigh Tucker Pollock, Scott Purswell, Sara Turner and Nancy Winkley, and Mariah Vietri invite you to enjoy this great day out, all in support of The Music Hall.
