The Peterborough Players' sixth play of the 2012 season, Rounding Third, by Richard Dresser, runs from tonight, August 29 through September 9. Tickets are $37 and $39 on Saturdays.

Jack Koenig and Kraig Swartz star as two Little League coaches who clash with vastly different coaching and parenting styles. From the title one might think this is all about baseball, but there's much more to it than that. One coach believes in shielding the kids from the intense pressure of competition; the other thinks he should be teaching kids how to win. Out of these conflicting philosophies, the real issues emerge: how should we raise our children? And what does it mean to be an American man? You do not have to be a baseball fan to know this funny and touching show, directed by Keith Stevens, is a home run!
