"Hold your breath. Make a wish. Count to three. Come with me . . ." It's pure magic, pure entertainment, pure imagination.

Roald Dahl's popular children's book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" has weaved its special brand of enchantment for decades, and now finds its way to Leddy's stage in an adaptation certain to please even the most finicky Wonka fanatic. Especially wondrous is our beautiful Wonkavator, complete with a hydraulic engine designed by local engineer, Wayne Merrill of Derry, which will soar to the top of our theater in the final dramatic scene which must be seen to be believed!!

Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka," directed by Elaine Gatchell, with musical direction by J. Bruce Gatchell, is a story familiar to most and beloved by many. It exposes human nature, with its good and evil tendencies, but cloaks it with magic and sweetens it with chocolate. It is a must-see for everyone! So bring the children, the grandchildren, and the grandparents . . . But most of all, bring imagination . . . and hope . . . and dreams. "Willy Wonka" runs from October 20 through November 5 with performances at 7:30 pm on Friday evenings, and 2:00 pm matinees on Saturdays, Sundays and one Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Tickets are just $20 for all seats at all performances!!!
