PAPA (Portsmouth Academy for the Performing Arts) is proud to present its Mainstage production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Jan. 17-19, 2014. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a musical retelling of the story of Joseph from the bible. Follow Joseph, his brothers, and of course the magical coat, on a colorful and richly weaved musical journey. A Tony Award winning musical, Joseph is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its familiar music and iconic style.

Featuring over 30 local and regional youth performers, Joseph packs a wallop of youth talent and professionalism, including 17 year old Portsmouth High School student, Morgan Blanchard, in the title role of Joseph. Directed by Taryn Herman and Musical Direction by Miles Burns, Joseph is sure to be yet another show stopping musical from The Rep's Youth Department. With a limited engagement of 5 performances, advance tickets are encouraged.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat runs Jan. 17 -Jan. 19, 2014. Fri. at 8:00pm, Sat. at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, Sun. at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
