If Death Has Taken Something From You, Give It Back at Husets Teater

The first stage adaptation of Naja Marie Aidt's iconic book exploring the universal pain of losing a child. The piece features Royal Danish Ballet dancer and choreographer Oliver Marcus Starpov as the son and actress Christine Albeck Børge as the mother, performing an intense duet of movement and text. Butoh artist Vangeline serves as Butoh Choreographic Consultant, shaping the raw physical vocabulary used to portray grief. At its core the work is also a love story about the bond between a mother and her child.
