The Theater Bug Presents LOVE'S LABOURS LOST
![]()
The Theater Bug is proud to present William Shakespeare's "Love's Labour's Lost", directed by Santiago Sosa of The Nashville Shakespeare Festival. This production will run March 22-25, 2018, Thurs-Sat at 7pm and Sun at 6pm. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults online, or $7 for children and $12 for adults at the door. The show will be performed at The Theater Bug located at 4809 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, in the back building of New Life Baptist Church.
The show will feature 24 actors, ages of 9 and 17, as well as 3 local adult professionals, Morgan Davis, Drew Freeman and Bakari King. It includes fun music arrangements of some of your favorite 50's tunes by local composer Natalie Bell.
King Ferdinand, the student government president and social King of Navarre Prep, has decided that he and all the other boys in the school, to better themselves as young men, must commit to hitting the books for 3 years. This agreement also means: No goofing off, lay off the cheese fries, and most importantly-NO GIRLS. One of his gang, Biron, reminds Ferdinand that the Princess from their neighboring Academy is coming to settle some scholastic business. The Princess, refused entry, is hot under the collar, and along with her girls, comes up with a plan to show the boys who's boss. Set to a nostalgic soundtrack, this retro romp through a Shakespeare classic is great for the whole family!
