Taylor Tracey makes her Nashville stage debut as Elle Woods in The Keeton Theatre's production of Legally Blonde, the Musical, running September 13-29 at the theatre, located at 108 Donelson Pike.

Based on the popular 2001 movie, Legally Blonde, The Musical brings college sweetheart and sorority president Elle Woods ( who won't take "no" for an answer) to the musical theater stage. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and sets out where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law School. Legally Blonde The Musical is an award-winning Broadway sensation and winner of "Best New Musical" at the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards in London.

This production is described as "an all-singing, all-dancing, feel good musical comedy that is one 'Elle of a show!'" according to director Kate Adams. Ginger Newman music directs, with a set designed by Jim Manning and costumes by Laura Higgins.

Appearing in the lead role of Elle Woods is Taylor Tracey, a newcomer to the Keeton stage. She is backed by a talent packed cast including Stephen Michael Jones as Emmett, Darin Richardson as Warner Huntington III, Sims Lamason as Brooke Wyndham and Jamie London as Paulette the hairdresser/sidekick to Elle.

"Rehearsals have been a blast-everyone is pushing  themselves to bring this challenging show to the Keeton stage" says Adams.

Legally Blonde runs September 13-29, with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Each performance is preceded by a three-course meal starting at 6 p.m., with lunch seating at 1 p.m. Tickets are $27 for dinner and show and $22 for show only with a special show-only price of $12 on Thursday nights.
