Street Theatre Company Welcomes Sawyer Wallace As Program Director Of ClassAct Dramatics Image

Sawyer Wallace to begin as Program Director of ClassAct Dramatics of Street Theatre Company.

A Welcome Statement From Artistic Director Randy Craft

"Street Theatre Company has had a fantastic 2018 season! We've brought shows like The Threepenny Opera, [title of show], Eclipsed, Brooklyn: The Musical, and The Burnt Part Boys to the Nashville stage. What many people outside the youth theater community may not know is Street Theatre Company has a thriving youth program called ClassAct Dramatics. ClassAct Dramatics brought youth from all over middle Tennessee for productions of James and the Giant Peach and Little Women while also offering educational experiences for youth throughout the 2018 season. At the end of our 2018 season, Erica Lee Haines stepped down as youth coordinator. Street Theatre Company found an exceptional candidate for the position in Sawyer Wallace. I can't think of a more qualified and talented person to fill Erica's shoes. I've worked with Sawyer many times in the past and it's always been creative and fun! I can't wait to see what he does in the 2019 season with ClassAct Dramatics."

With additional experience in teaching and directing for studios and schools at the High School level, Sawyer hopes to bring excellence to the ClassAct Dramatics program. This season has great shows and classes in store for the program. Get ready for some thrilling plays and musicals!
