New Musical 7 WAYS TO SUNDAY to Play The Theater Bug This Fall

"7 Ways to Sunday" is a new musical written by Eric Fritsch and Cori Anne Laemmel that will run September 15th-18th and 23rd.

Thursday and Friday evening performances will begin at 7pm, Saturday performances will begin at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday at 6pm. Tickets are available at the door for $17 and online for $15 at www.ticketsnashville.com.

The show will be presented at The Theater Bug located at 4809 Gallatin Pike in the back building of New Life Baptist Church.

The show deals with mature themes including depression and suicide among teens and we ask that you use discretion when attending with children or people with a sensitivity to this subject matter.

Sunday Miller is a 15-year-old girl with a secret. She has super powers. After deciding to use one of them to see her own future, she decides to go back in time and re-live the same day, using her super powers to try and change the outcome. On the way she uncovers the secret pain of her family and friends and does her best to reach out and connect.

The Theater Bug is thrilled to announce that the Tennessee Performing Arts Center will present a small scale performance of "7 Ways to Sunday" on February 2nd for invited guests, including educators, guidance counselors, and community leaders. TPAC is looking for input on the potential for a fully-realized production of our musical to student audiences on its annual "Season for Young Audiences." If this happens, hopefully during the 2017-18 school year, TPAC Education will also provide resources to teachers, including comprehensive guidebooks with lesson plans. Like Theater Bug, TPAC will partner with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, which provides materials and training. If you know someone within the educational community who would advocate for this show, let me know. We will invite them to the performance in February and welcome their input. We are very excited about this chance to reach new audiences and advance more conversations about depression, suicide, and mental health.
