By:

Nashville Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the Pultizer Prize-nominated contemporary play Rapture, Blister, Burn, running tonight, September 3, and playing through September 19, 2015 in Johnson Theater at Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

Friends Catherine and Gwen reunite after more than a decade apart when Catherine returns home to care for her mother. Catherine has had a dazzling career as a high-profile author while Gwen chose to raise a family - after marrying the man Catherine gave up to pursue her goals. As they catch up, each woman begins to covet the other's life and question her own path.
