The national tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors will play Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall for a limited, one-week engagement February 17-22, 2015.

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m. at TPAC.org, by phone at (615) 782-4040, and at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick Street, in downtown Nashville. For group tickets, please call (615) 782-4060.

Broadway and television star Diana DeGarmo (Narrator) and Broadway star Ace Young (Joseph) head up the cast, which also features Paul Castree as Simeon, William Thomas Evans as Jacob/Potiphar, Brian Golub as Reuben, Max Kumangai as Judah, and Ryan Williams as Pharaoh.

"We are honored to have American Idol alumni and Broadway stars Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young starring in this wonderful family production. It's a special treat since the married couple will be performing the show to their own city as they recently moved to Nashville," says Kathleen O'Brien, TPAC president and chief executive officer. "TPAC is also a proud investor in the tour of the show, which we love because of the uplifting message and the amazing cast."

The Cleveland Plain Dealer raves, "Joseph thrills with Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young. The new production is an exuberant success that stays true to all of the original's joyfulness, humor and fantastic songs while subtly updating it for a 2014 audience."

Husband-and-wife team Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young first met when they shared the Broadway stage in the 2009 revival of HAIR.

"I am so excited to be starring as Joseph alongside Diana," said Young. "It's great to be back on stage."

"I, too, am so excited to star alongside Ace in the very role I once looked up to years ago as a child in the choir," added DeGarmo.

One of the most enduring shows of all time, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son. The first collaboration of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Cats) and lyricist Tim Rice (Jesus Christ Superstar, The Lion King), JOSEPH blends pop, country and rock into an uplifting, technicolored story of Biblical proportions. This magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including "Those Canaan Days," "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door."

Produced by the Independent Presenters Network, the tour features Scenic Design by Beowulf Boritt, Costume Design by Jennifer Caprio, Lighting Design by Howell Binkley, Sound Design by John Shivers and David Patridge, Projection & Video Design by Daniel Brodie, Music Supervision by David Kreppel and Music Direction by Wayne Green.
