BELLES ON THEIR TOES next up at Lakewood Theatre Company 2/18-3/5
Belles on Their Toes, the sequel to the classic stage comedy Cheaper by the Dozen, opens the 2011 season at Lakewood Theatre Company in Old Hickory, running February 18-March 5.
Heather Vaughn Alexander, who was recently named winner of the Nashville.BroadwayWorld.com award as best actress for her performance in Circle Players' The Grapes of Wrath, is one of the cast members in the play.
"Come experience the continuing adventures of the Gilbreth family from Cheaper by the Dozen! Belles on Their Toes is a rich, witty story (based on the autobiographical novel by Frank Bunker Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey) that is perfect entertainment for the whole family," according to a press release from the theater company. "You may also remember the film versions of these stories starring Steve Martin and Clifton Webb."
Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. for Friday and Saturday performances, with 2:30 matinees slated for Sunday, February 20 and 27.
