With its profound sense of communication, the evident joy their interpretations display and its solid teamwork, the St. Lawrence Quartet enchants and enthralls its listeners with dynamic and passionate performances. Revealing the wondrous nuances of familiar repertoires while illuminating the works of the most talented composers of today, they open unsuspected musical horizons. This concert will be an opportunity to hear a world premiere of a work by American composer John Adams (born in 1947).

Recipient of international prizes, pianist Serhiy Salov has performed with world-class orchestras. His first recording (2007) garnered a Prix Opus. His most recent received unanimous praises thanks to his masterly transcription of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
