Di Shvegerins is a Yiddish translation of Michel Tremblay's Les Belles-sœurs, translated by Goldie Morgentaler in collaboration with Pierre Anctil and directed by Audrey Finkelstein. The production follows Germaine Lauzon and her working-class Montreal neighbours as they gather for a stamp-gluing session that spirals into a kitchen-party gone awry, exploring the daily lives of women in 1960s Montreal with humour and tenderness. The cast includes Cheryl Blum as Germaine Lauzon, Salomé Assor, Leslie Bronstein, Maia Cooper, Cynthia Fish, and Ron Shenker, among others. The show is performed in Yiddish with English and French supertitles and is a Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre production.
