This important assembly, which includes directors general, board chairs of all sectors and other key members of the organization, will also be an occasion to take stock and establish the organization's priorities for the future.

In the fall of 2015, Infinitheatre formed a play-driven dramaturgical group, the Quebec English-Language Playwrights' Unit aka, The Unit. The Unit prioritizes plays and projects that are slated for, or have a serious chance of being, programmed in future seasons in theatres across Canada. Infinitheatre Artistic Director Guy Sprung is looking forward to forming the 2019 cohort of The Unit.

This past summer, Full Circle Productions was fortunate to have the opportunity to perform in New York City at the iconic Feinstein's/54 Below with their original cabaret called SIX DEGREES OF BROADWAY SEPARATION. The concept was so well received, it has been evolved and developed into a full two-hour Broadway musical revue that will demonstrate through musical numbers, how five of the leading shows currently on Broadway, are all connected via six degrees or less!

Vital Intercultural Theatre Grants $490, 400 To 31 Local Companies

The Cole Foundation is pleased to announce the latest grant winners for the Intercultural Conversations-Conversations Interculturelles (IC-CI) programme, initiated to encourage greater understanding of Montreal's cultural mosaic by having audiences enjoy professional plays that present stories and issues of diversity on stage. For the past ten years the Foundation has focused on intercultural and racialized theatrical conversations for their community initiatives. This has created an award-winning catalogue incorporating themes of inclusion and cultural dialogue. Adding to those, the programme has now expanded to include stories with and about other marginalized communities such as LGBTQ and people with a disability. This year $490,400 was granted, the highest amount of award money since the IC-CI programme's launch.

Two-time Governor General's Award-winning playwright, Morris Panych directs The Shoplifters, a comedy about the effects of consumerism. The play received its 2014 world premiere in Washington, DC, ironically the capital of one of the world's countries most dedicated to free enterprise and the almighty dollar. The script has been reworked by Mr. Panych, with the help of his bilingual cast, to depict a unique Montreal experience for Centaur audiences. Long-time artistic collaborator and life partner, Ken MacDonald, designed the set and costumes, as he has done for Mr. Panych on more than 100 projects.
Labyrinth Stage Productions Presents DAUGHTERS OF MILE END

For its second original production, Labyrinth Stage Productions (LSP) presents the world premiere of Daughters of Mile End, from April 3 to 6, 2019 at DB Clarke Theatre (1455 de Maisonneuve West). Written by LSP's co-founders, Pearl Lottner Rothenberg and Claudia Litvak Polachek, the play is about four Mile End girls and the diverse paths their lives take as they grow into adulthood and beyond. The all-female multi-generational cast of thirteen is under the direction of Rachelle Glait, with set and costume designs by the multi-award winning John Dinning and Louise Bourret respectively.
