Straight No Chaser Comes to ABT Next Month

By: Oct. 25, 2018

Straight No Chaser Comes to ABT Next Month ImageLimited tickets remain for acclaimed a cappella group Straight No Chaser's One Shot Tour show on Thursday, November 1 at Alberta Bair Theater.

The One Shot Tour, which kicked off September 12 in Helsinki, Finland, coincides with the 10th Anniversary of Straight No Chaser signing with Atlantic Records and the release of their debut album Holiday Spirits after a video of the group performing "12 Days of Christmas" went viral on YouTube and became the most viewed video of 2007. Upon the release of Holiday Spirits in 2008, The New York Times predicted "this may be the year's most unlikely major label story." Now, ten years later with six full length albums and four EPs under their belt, the group hits the road to celebrate and invites fans to join them on the One Shot Tour.

"Every year it gets better and better," says Tyler Trep.. "We keep surprising ourselves in a good way, and it just keeps growing." Along with original members Randy Stine and Tyler Trepp, the current lineup features Walter Chase, Jerome Collins, Seggie Isho, Michael Luginbill, Charlie Mechling, Steve Morgan, and David Roberts.

This performance by Straight No Chaser is sponsored by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and KULR 8. Tickets, $59/$46/$39, are available at the Alberta Bair Theater Box Office on the corner of 3rd Ave N and N Broadway, by phone at 406-256-6052 (box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10-5; Saturday 10-3) and/or online at www.albertabairtheater.org.
