Arias, duets and choruses from operas

Three of the most beautiful voices of today, all linked by a rich collaboration with the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, will gather volunteers for a unique gala a few days before Christmas. The two protagonists of Ernani in April 2014 share the stage with the magnificent Angela Gheorghiu (L'amico Fritz in 1999, La traviata in 2000 - Japan tour - Faust in 2005) to interpret the most beautiful pages in the operatic repertoire. Their complicity, demonstrated repeatedly on international stages, will begin serving a cause dear to the eyes of Ramón Vargas. All proceeds from this concert will go to the foundation established in the disappearance of his son Eduardo at the age of six.
The goal of the "Fund in memory of Eduardo Vargas" is to contribute to the development of young children with disabilities in the most marginalized areas of Mexico. The Monte Carlo Opera is not only proud to present a prestigious gala - under the musical direction of Philippe Auguin at the head of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice - but also to make possible this meeting of solidarity for the benefit the most vulnerable.
