The Grimaldi Forum Monaco will be presenting CHICAGO, the musical, from 21 to 24 June.

The plot is based on a true story that took place in the 1920s. Roxie Hart, a young chorus girl, murders her lover. In prison, she meets her idol, Velma Kelly, a jazz singer and double murderer. Not only does she manage to escape from prison with the help of the famous lawyer Billy Flynn, but also uses her trial to become a showbiz star.

"Chicago" was created by the successful writers of "Cabaret" and "New York, New York" and the legendary choreographer Bob Fosse. Its sexy, daring cast presents a show full of songs that have become classics of their genre, including "All That Jazz," "Funny Honey," "Mr Cellophane," "Nowadays" and "Razzle Dazzle."

That may explain why "Chicago" has been such a global hit from Broadway to London, with a string of international tours, collecting six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy Award and thousands of standing ovations on the way.

Performances at 8.30 pm on Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 June; and at 3 pm on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24 June.

Prices: 39 €, 59 € and 79 € Reductions of 15 to 20 percent for children, students and groups
