NUNSENSE Comes to ShenanArts at the nTelos Theatre, Now thru 2/17
Nunsense, directed by Bob Wright and written by Dan Goggin, will play ShenanArts at the nTelos Theatre, tonight, February 8th - 10th & February 15th - 17th, running Fridays & Saturdays: 7:00 pm and Sundays: 3:00 pm.
Starring local favorites Barbara Lawson, Sandi Belcher, Diane Truslow, Sarah Layman, and Sara Meinhofer as The Little Sisters of Hoboken. An unfortunate convent cooking accident causes most of the order to die of botulism. Before all of the deceased sisters can be buried, Reverend Mother Superior buys a camcorder and VCR for the convent - resulting in not having enough money to bury the four remaining sisters (which, by the way, are temporarily being stored in the freezer). In order to raise money to bury the four dead sisters, the Little Sisters of Hoboken (well, what's left of them) put on a riotous revue packed with hilarious, show-stopping song and dance numbers.
Barbara Spilman Lawson (Sister Mary Regina)
Sandi Belcher (Sister Mary Hubert)
Dianne Truslow (Sister Robert Anne)
Sarah Layman (Sister Mary Amnesia)
Sara Meinhofer (Sister Leo)
