Mayhem Poets to open at Minneapolis' Children's Theatre Co, 10/16

The Mayhem Poets will open this Friday, October 16, at The Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis.
Formed in 2000 by Rutgers University students Kyle Sutton and Scott Raven Tarazevits as an "open-mic" forum, Mayhem Poets melds contemporary world issues, dynamic hip-hop artistry, spoken word and audience participation into a nationally renowned theatrical performance that the New York Times calls "an amazing ride."
The Mayhem Poets run at Children's Theatre Company from Oct. 13 through Nov. 7, 2009.
