Karma Wilson's BEAR SNORES ON Premieres at Stages Theatre Company Tonight

Stages Theatre Company (STC) presents Bear Snores On, directed by Melanie Salmon-Peterson, based on the popular children's book, Bear Snores On, by Karma Wilson, illustrated by Jane Chapman.

Warm up this winter with a favorite childhood tale, premiering on our main stage, adapted by Jennifer Kirkeby, with music and lyrics by Blake Thomas. Bear and all of his friends cozy up in this imaginative musical for all ages!

On a cold, stormy winter night, one by one a whole host of animals venture into Bear's cave to warm up. But even after the tea has been brewed, and corn has been popped, Bear just snores on! Join Bear and all of his friends as he finally wakes up and finds them having a party without him.

Bear Snores On opens Friday, January 22nd and runs through Monday, February 15th, and is for all ages. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.stagestheatre.org for performance dates and times, or by calling the Box Office at (952) 979-1111, option 4, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.

The show features Brent Teclaw as BEAR, along with talented ensemble cast of Teagan Bowar (BENITA THE BADGER), Nick Cecchi (MICK THE MOUSE), Nicholas Dekker (HARRISON THE HARE), Sophie Farrell (MOLLIE THE MOUSE), Ki'Shya Graham (MILLIE THE MOUSE), Emma Kempf (EDGAR THE RAVEN), Sara Magnuson (GLORIA THE GOPHER), Greta Nackerud (MUMFORD THE MOLE), and Camille Norman (WINNIE THE WREN).
