Children's Theatre Company (CTC) presents the world premiere of Bert & Ernie, Goodnight! September 8 through October 25.

The classic Sesame Street characters are adapted to the stage by Barry Kornhauser. The show is presented by special arrangement with Sesame Workshop and VEE Corporation.

Bert & Ernie, Goodnight! is directed by Peter C. Brosius and featuring Bradley Greenwald and Reed Sigmund.

"Sesame Workshop is thrilled to be working with The Children's Theatre Company," says Peter van Roden, Vice President of Themed Entertainment for Sesame Workshop. "These two iconic characters are in great hands and will have a wonderful new audience thanks to CTC's creative efforts. We just hope Bert can get some sleep!"

Tap dancing sheep, sing-a-long pigeons, and the ever-outlandish Ernie - it's bedlam in this musical comedy featuring Bradley Greenwald and Reed Sigmund as Sesame Street's Best Friends Forever. Poor Bert just wants to go to sleep but Ernie's wildly inventive antics unleash a hilarious misadventure of songs, surprises, and disasters.

Whether you are 4, 8 or 38, this world premiere production offers endless entertainment and nonstop laughs. The not-to-be-missed theatrical event of the year, featuring the duo from CTC's beloved hit show Frog and Toad. Based on the original series, script, and music for Sesame Street.

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) creates extraordinary theater experiences that educate, challenge and inspire more than 300,000 people annually. CTC is the first theater for young people to win the coveted Tony® Award for Outstanding Regional Theater (2003), an honor it received shortly after making its Broadway debut with the Tony®-nominated A Year With Frog and Toad. Established in 1965, CTC is the recipient of the Children's Theater Foundation of America Medallion and the National Governor's Association Award, and is one of the largest theater companies in the nation.
