MYSO Hires Rebecca Owen For New VP Of Development Position

The Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) has created a new position, Vice President of Development, to build a foundation for future growth. After an extensive search, Rebecca Owen, former Deputy Director of Development for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, WI, has been hired to fill this post effective November 19. In previous roles, Rebecca has served as Vice President of Development for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and as a Director of Development at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

The Grinch Gets Ready For His Debut In Milwaukee With Help From Tourism Grant

The story of The Grinch and Whoville is coming to the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts during their first-ever run of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical. With help from a $31,640 Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, the Marcus Center aims to increase visits to Milwaukee with a special sales promotion for overnight guests. The sales promotion will run in conjunction with performances of The Grinch from Nov. 20-25, 2018.

THE KING AND I Will Premiere In Milwaukee At The Marcus Center
