UWM Peck School of the Arts Theatre Department's LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES Opens 11/20
The UWM Peck School of the Arts Theatre Department is excited to present Christopher Hampton's award winning drama "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" at the Mainstage Theatre this Wednesday, November 20-Sunday, November 24th.
Directed by Rebecca Holderness (read about Holderness' recent `Zelda Fichandler'' Award here), and based on de Laclos' 1782 novel of the same name, "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" is rich in elegance, sensuality, and wit. An exploration of the aristocratic excesses of pre-revolutionary France, it follows the impact of a cruel wager between the beautiful, debauched Marquise de Merteuil and her former lover Vicomte de Valmont. Here, in a labyrinth of intrigue and deception, fate ultimately hangs on The Edge of a sword.
Order your tickets online at arts.uwm.edu/tickets, by phone at 414-229-4308, or at the box office in the Mainstage Theatre lobby one hour prior to performances.
