Boulevard Theatre Presents VERSE AND VINO 5/24

The Boulevard Theatre's Verse & Vino Annual fundraising will kick off our 25th Anniversary Season
Monday May 24, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The event will be a like a "mini block party, since the event spans three locations - Boulevard Theatre, Rivera Maya and BYO.

The popular event features poetry reading by Milwaukee celebrities including David Flores, Beth Monhollen, Ruth Schudson, Michelle Waide, Janet Peterson, Susan Fate, Ericka Wade, and Martin Hintz to name a few. It also includes appetizers, wine tasting and a silent auction.

Come, enjoy poetry at the Boulevard, wander our neighboring businesses, sample fine wines, savor tasty appetizers, bid on great silent auction items, and take a chance on raffle prizes. Local friends and businesses are providing the food, auction items and raffles prizes.
The Boulevard Theatre has broken artistic ground, helping to grow local talent and provide unique theatrical experiences to our community. Our neighborhood has transformed from an economically challenged area with little hope to a thriving business and cultural destination. Our alumni graduated from early career opportunities on the Boulevard stage to starring turns at The Skylight, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, The Milwaukee Rep and many more arts organizations throughout the country. Our technical and administrative alumni have grown from enthusiastic beginners to respected professionals in the Milwaukee arts community.
