Yo-Yo Ma and Emanuel Ax at Cobb Great Hall

Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax bring their decades-long musical partnership to the stage for a night of spectacular music. The duo, who met as Juilliard students in the early 1970s and have been recital partners since 1973, perform together with a friendship spanning half a century. The program features Brahms' Violin Sonata No. 3 arranged for cello and piano, Prokofiev's Cello Sonata in C Major, and Beethoven's Variations in F on a Theme from The Magic Flute.
