Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company at Lake Superior State University

Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, a pioneering Asian-American, woman-led ensemble led by Artistic Director Greta Campo, performs a program blending traditional Chinese heritage with contemporary innovation. Key pieces include Lion in the City, a collaboration bridging traditional Chinese movement and Hip-Hop, the Peacock Dance from the Dai ethnic group, and Movable Figures, inspired by shadow puppetry. Other works include Way of Fire, Raindrop, and Flowing River Under the Moonlight, culminating in the high-energy finale Festival. The company has performed at Lincoln Center, The Joyce Theater, Jacob's Pillow, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
