Free@3 Concert Series Presents the Perugino String Quartet
Sunday, April 26, 2026 — First Reformed Church, Holland
Holland's Free@3 Concert Series will present the Perugino String Quartet in concert on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church, 630 S. State St. Admission is free.
The program features Mozart's Quartet in F Major, K. 158; Osvaldo Golijov's Tenebrae; Germaine Tailleferre's String Quartet; and Beethoven's Quartet in C minor, Op. 18 No. 4 — a compelling mix of classical masterworks and 20th-century discoveries.
Named after Renaissance painter Pietro Perugino of Perugia, Italy — Grand Rapids' sister city — the ensemble has performed for West Michigan audiences for over 25 years. Members Eric Tanner and Christopher Martin (violin), Barbara Corbato (viola), and Stacey Bosman Tanner (cello) are all principals or longtime members of the Grand Rapids Symphony. The quartet made its New York debut at Lincoln Center in 1999 and has premiered works by Michigan composers.
The Free@3 series is supported by the Engels Family Foundation, LVZ Advisors, the Joan C. Conway Charitable Giving Fund, and generous individual donors. For more information, visit freeat3.weebly.com.
