The 2026 Sutton Foster Awards Showcase marks the 13th annual celebration of high school musical theatre across Michigan, hosted by Wharton Center for Performing Arts at Cobb Great Hall. This year, 170 students from 85 high schools across the state have been nominated to participate in the year-end showcase, recognized for their outstanding work in their schools' musical productions. Leading up to the event, theatre professionals served as adjudicators, attending each school's full production and providing feedback to nominees. At the showcase, two students will be selected to represent Michigan at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards, known as The Jimmy Awards.
