Learn the art of improvisation and sketch comedy at Go U! The Improv Academy Spring term of classes begins Saturday, March 12

Registration is now being taken for the spring term of classes at Go Comedy!'s Go U! The Improv Academy. The new term begins Saturday, March 12 with classes continuing for eight weeks. Improv classes at Go U! The Improv Academy are taught by the best working improvisers in Detroit. Students learn skills valuable for actors & improvisers as well as develop abilities that help anyone working in an office, leading a team, teaching students, or simply communicating with others. Go U! classes are a great way to meet new people, develop skills, and push yourself to do something new, fun and challenging.

Introductory classes for beginning improvisers (INTRO 1) are offered on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. and Mondays from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. starting at Go U! The Improv Academy Sunday March 13. Students will learn the fundamentals of improvisation, basic games, scene work and skills. Tuition for Go U! adult classes is $200.

Go U! is also excited to welcome kids to the improv academy with Go Youth! Two class levels are available with Improv J.V. for students currently in grades 6-8 and Improv for Teens available for students currently in grades 9-12. Both Go Youth! programs begin Saturday, March 12. Tuition for Go Youth! classes is $150.
