Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, starts 2016 with Too Much, Too Much, Too Many by Meghan Kennedy. Performances begin Thursday, January 28 and run through Sunday, February 28. Tickets for this bittersweet yet touchingly funny drama go on sale Tuesday, January 28.

Too Much, Too Much, Too Many begins with five Preview performances starting Thursday, January 28. During the first four Previews audience members will have the opportunity to take part in the process of creating a show by participating in a talkback session with the director following each performance. The Official Opening Night is Friday, February 5 at 8PM with the show scheduled to run through Sunday, February 28. Performances will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at eight o'clock and Sunday matinees at two o'clock with additional three o'clock matinees on Saturdays starting February 6.

Following the death of her husband after his struggle with the grim realities of dementia, Rose locks herself in her bedroom for the better part of a year, leaving her daughter, Emma, to care for her through the closed door. When the church sends a pastor to help coax Rose out of her room, he soon finds that Rose is not the only one using barriers to hide her true feelings. This compelling drama is bittersweet, poignant and touchingly funny.

As part of our 10th Season Celebration we have added "Conversation Sundays" to each production. The "Conversation Sunday" for Too Much, Too Much, Too Many will be Sunday, February 21 starting a few minutes after the show ends. You do not need to attend the show that day to participate in the "Conversation Sunday". We are still putting together the speakers for that day, but hope to include the cast and director along with an expert on respite care. Please call the theatre if you would like more details.

The cast of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many consists of David Daoust (Over the River and Through the Woods), Brenda Lane, Aaron T. Moore (Five Course Love, Additional Particulars) and Emily Sutton-Smith (Miracle on South Division Street, End Days). The Director is Williamston Theatre's Artistic Director, Tony Caselli (Rounding Third, Sirens). The production team includes Set Design by Elspeth Williams, Lighting Design by Dana White (Oedipus), Costume Design by Karen Kangas-Preston (The Gravedigger, Tuna Does Vegas), Sound Design by Jason Painter Price (Rounding Third, End Days) and Props Design by Melissa Hunter. The Stage Manager is Stefanie Din.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can for the Preview on Thursday, January 28. Please be aware there have been some ticket policy changes in relation to the Pay-What-You-Can performance including a limit of 10 tickets per person/household/organization. Remaining Preview tickets are still $15.00! Tickets for the Official Opening Night Friday, February 5 @ 8PM, are $35 and include an after-glow with the cast and crew. We have raised ticket prices by $1 for performances after Opening Night for the 2015-2016 Season. Adult ticket prices are now $28.00 for Friday and Saturday evenings, $25.00 for Saturday and Sunday matinees and $23.00 for Thursday evenings. Senior citizens (65 and older) and members of the Military still receive a $2 discount on all tickets. Student tickets (with a valid student ID) remain $10 for all performances.
