Planet Ant will close out its 2016-17 season with the musical play, Failure: A Love Story by Phillip Dawkins April 28 - May 20. Tickets ($10-$20) are available now online at www.planetant.com.

By the end of 1928, all three Fail sisters will be dead - expiring in reverse order, youngest to oldest. Tuneful songs and a whimsical chorus follow the story of Nelly, Jenny June and Gerty as they live out their lives above their family's clock repair shop near the Chicago River. Failure: A Love Story is a magical, musical fable where, in the end, the power of love is far greater than any individual's successes or failures.

Directed by Molly McMahon and Jill Dion, Failure: A Love Story features Alexis Barrera, Kryssy Becker, Jason Bowen, Jon Davidson, Kate Foster, Sarah Hawkins Moan, Taylor Morrow, and Sean Paraventi.

Performances are at 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday evenings with a 6:00pm performance on Sunday, May 7 and a 2:00pm performance on Sunday, May 14 at the original Planet Ant Black Box Theatre, 2357 Caniff, Hamtramck MI 48212.

Tickets for opening weekend are $10 and $20 for all other performances. Tickets are on sale now at www.planetant.com and in person at the Planet Ant Theatre box office 30 minutes prior to show time based on availability.
