Grammy Award-winning jazz guitarist and composer Pat Metheny is on tour with the Unity Group featuring Chris Potter (woodwinds), Antonio Sanchez (drums), Ben Williams (bass), and Giulio Carmassi (multiple instruments).
Metheny has performed with artists as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, and David Bowie, but he's especially excited about his bandmates on this tour. "The Unity [Group] project was life-changing for me," he says. "I have led many groups of talented musicians, but what went down with that band on a night after night basis was inspiring in a way that was really unlike anything else."
