PNT & Children's Theatre Network Present the World Music Tour with Guy Louis
Performance Network Theatre presents "World Music Tour" with Guy Louis on Saturday, November 20 at 1pm. This all-ages show, part of The Children's Theatre Network's Saturday Series for Young Audiences, will be followed by a milk and cookies reception.
A multicultural musical adventure! You will see an impressive collection of instruments on display including a European Renaissance Lute, a Sitar, Tamboura, Tabla Drums from India, a Native American Drum, a wide variety of African Drums and percussion instruments, and an electric guitar. The program begins in Native America, travel to Renaissance Europe, Africa, India, and finally back to modern America. As questions and group dynamics are encouraged we will explore ideas of world interaction and cooperation in a positive and exciting future. Appropriate for all ages!
Since 1985, Guy Louis has presented family shows that are as popular with adults as they are with kids. A blend of education, awesome musical instruments and active audience participation make Guy's shows fast-paced musical adventures that celebrate community and original creative expression. Children's Theatre Network is a touring program dedicated to awakening the creativity, intellect and compassion of our youth through the power and fun of live performance. Performance Network presents each of the productions one Saturday a month on its Main Stage. These shows are great entertainment for all ages and include a milk and cookie reception following each performance.
