The New Theatre Project is thrilled to announce their move into a brand new performance space. Having previously resided at Unit 2, occupied by the Pot & Box on 220 Felch St., The New Theatre Project will be moving into their own venue in the same building, Unit 5. The space will house the Project beginning with the next show and into Season 2: Revelation. Stay tuned for the details coming soon.

TNTP also announces a change in the performance schedule and artistic staff of its upcoming production of The Everyman Project. The Project, based on the medieval text Everyman by Anonymous, uses this classical text to inspire a wholly contemporary performance musing on the Ensemble's reaction to the question: What are the things, both great and small, that you want to accomplish in your lifetime? The Everyman Project will now be written in a collaborative adaptation by Playwright-in-Residence Jason Sebacher under the direction of TNTP Associate Artistic Director Ben Stange and featuring the New Ensemble Members Luna Alexander, Ben Berg, Andy England, Analea Lessenberry, and Elise Randall. The show will have previews on Tuesday, April 26-Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm. Everyman opens on Friday, April 29 and plays on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 pm and 10 pm and Sundays at 7 pm through Sunday, May 15.

Additionally, TNTP announces a change to their summer lineup. Opening on Friday, July 8 will be Posing by Jason Sebacher featuring an opening act of The Florentine Tragedy (After Oscar Wilde) adapted, also by Sebacher, from an unfinished play fragment by Oscar Wilde.Posing exposes the tensions between sex and love, and the consequences of staying young forever. Posing will be under the direction of TNTP Artistic Director Keith Paul Medelis and will feature Evan Mann and Ben Stange. The Florentine Tragedy will be directed by Frannie Shepherd-Bates and will feature Mann and Stange. The plays will be performed on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 pm and 10 pm and Sundays at 7 pm from July 8-23 with pay-what-you-can preview performances on Tuesday, July 5-Thursday, July 7.
