Go Comedy! Improv Theater has announced that its joint venture with the Ferndale Public Library, Son of The Maltese Falcon, has been extended to April 29. And the original comedy Wicked Tales of Horror & Regret will open at 9pm Thursday, April 1. Tickets ($5-$15) for all Go Comedy! shows are available online at www.gocomedy.net, by calling 248-327-0575,or in person at the Go Comedy! box office.

Thursday nights at Go Comedy! kick off at 8pm with The Son of The Maltese Falcon. Long considered one of the most hard-boiled classics of hard-boiled detective fiction, Dashiell Hammett's "The Maltese Falcon" gets an injection of improv comedy when the Go Comedy! cast tells Hammett's story - with a twist. Based on one audience suggestion, you'll see a hilarious, completely improvised version of this timeless mystery. Presented by the Ferndale Public Library, Son of The Maltese Falcon is $5 and features Lauren Bickers (Ferndale), Joe Hingelberg (Canton), Tim Kay (Ypsilanti), Louie Krause (Wayne), and Mark Sobolewski (Ferndale). It is directed by Bryan Lark (Ferndale).

Son of The Maltese Falcon is followed at 9pm by the original comedy, Wicked Tales of Horror and Regret. Directed by Go Comedy! resident member Tim Kay (Ypsilanti), this satire written in the style of Twilight Zone and Outer Limits, takes the audience on a series of spooky tales with comedic twists around every corner. Featuring Go Comedy! resident members Michael Hovitch (Ferndale) and Michael Wilson (Detroit) with Ian Young (Lake Orion) and Lorenzo Toia (Livonia) Wicked Takes of Horror and Regret will broaden your mind and chill your bones. Tickets are $5.

Thursday nights close at 10pm with the Go Comedy! improvised show, Flight 77 Non-Stop. Stow your oversized carry on and return your tray tables to their upright position as Go Comedy! resident members Pj Jacokes, Bryan Lark, and Matt Nass take you on Flight 77 Non-stop. Tickets are just $5.
