Go Comedy! Improv Theater is opening the holiday season this week with its ninth original holiday show, Episode 8: The Last Magi. The original sketch comedy revue is one of several special events and shows filling the award-winning improv theater's schedule through the season. Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows ($5-$20) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office. Episode 8: The Last Magi After 2016, Santa has gone into exile and Mrs. Claus and the elves are desperate to find him before Christmas finally arrives. As they search, the rest of the world tries to navigate the holiday season in this original sketch comedy revue. Families are prepping meals and touring light displays, strangers are coming together to help each other, and friends are celebrating different holiday customs. Directed by Pete Jacokes with assistance from Mary Beth Kolbicz, Episode 8: The Last Magi is written and performed by Dana Arcicovich, Chris DiAngelo, Suzie Jacokes, Scott Myers, Tom Novik, and Dez Walker with additional material written by Doug Kolbicz, and music direction by Jeremy St. Martin and Joel Grey.

Episode 8: The Last Magi appears Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm November 16 - December 23 (no shows on Thanksgiving). Tickets are $15 on Thursday evenings and $20 on Friday & Saturdays and are available now online www.gocomedy.net.

Naughty & Nice Go Comedy! has taken its favorite sketches from eight years of original holiday shows and put them in one spectacular revue. This season's best of Go Comedy! show appears Wednesday evenings at 8:00pm & Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm. Tickets start at $15 and are available now online at www.gocomedy.net.

Hangover's Eve (Wednesday, November 22)
For the eighth year in a row, Go Comedy! will celebrate the biggest bar night of the year with an evening featuring some of the best improv troupes in town and pre-Thanksgiving drink specials. Featured improv troupes include: Dubalicious, Listen Stupid, ABC Family, & Ghost Pepper Challenge. Tickets are $10.
Family-Friendly All Star Showdown (Saturday, December 9 @ 4:00pm)
Join Go Comedy! on Saturday, December 9 for a family-friendly version of its popular All-Star Showdown. Candy, prizes, and holiday cheer will abound! Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for those under 18. Kids under 5 get in free! Kisses Under The Camletoe (Saturday, December 9 @ 11:55pm) A special one-night-only holiday themed burlesque. Featuring: Lushes Lamoan, Hermione Stranger, Sophia Von Stardust, Luna Legare, Lilith Von Tal, Jax Nippleson, Tommy Gun, & Felina Distemper.

New Year's Eve at Go Comedy!Ring in the New Year at Go Comedy! with these special All Star Showdown events. Tickets for the 7:30pm show are $35 and include pre-show hors d'oeuvres, special prizes, and drink specials. Tickets for the 10:00pm show are $50 and include pre-show hors d'oeuvres, special prizes, drink specials, a champagne toast at midnight and much more.

Beta Testing There is a bunker miles beneath the surface of Go Comedy! Improv Theater. Inside that bunker is the the Go Laboratories where Dr. Doug Kolbicz and his crack team of scientists are constantly struggling to develop new methods of Improv comedy. After years of classified experiments, the Go Labs products are finally ready to be tested on human subjects the phase known as Beta Testing. New short-form games will be revealed for the first time!
Character FondueGo Comedy! brings character work to a whole new level in this fully improvised show. Featuring a melting pot of character performances, mixed in with a dash of improvised monologues, and an entrée of scenes, Character Fondue introduces a world of unique and hilarious characters brought to life. Sometimes cheesy, often meaty, yet always served hot, Character Fondue will surely fill your appetite for characters and comedy.

Fresh Sauce
Go Comedy!'s open improv jam. Anyone with an interest in improv can play improv games with other improvisers of all experience levels.

The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown
The theater's signature show continues to be The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown which has played on Friday and Saturday nights continually for eight years. Featuring members of Go Comedy!'s resident company, The All Star Showdown puts two teams of improvisers in an improv competition tailored to challenge their abilities, think on their feet and give audiences a roaring good time. The cast also plays for audience members who take home fabulous prizes when their team wins. It's a night of hilarious laughs and great times!
The Go Comedy! Sunday Buffet

Go Comedy! presents its long-form improv launch group, Hot Gold joined by a local opener, and a long-form headliner. For the months of November & December, these guest troupes include:

- November 26: Public Dancers; The Planet Ant Farm Team; ETC
- December 3: In the A.M.; TWrecks; For Real- December 10: Brothers Jacokes; Date Night

Go Comedy! presents a free long-form improv set featuring cast members from Friday & Saturday night's shows to close out the evening. The audience names the show and the cast creates the material on-the-spot starting around 11:45pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Free.
Go Comedy! New Show ShowcaseFour brand new long form improvised shows will get their chance to impress the Go Comedy! audience, Wednesday, November 29th. Not Star Trek, improvised sci-fi; Detective, an improvised murder mystery; The Tennessee Williams Project, improvised play with melodrama and full costumes; and Long & Short of It, a long form set with elements of short form games.

Pandemonia
More improv than you can shake an invisible stick at! 12 comedians vie for laughs, love and points to see who can be the last one standing through a series of comedic scenes, songs, and even party games. Audience suggestions pave the way for a wild night of improv comedy. Not to be missed! Pandemonia features a rotating cast.
Teacher's Lounge
Teachers from Go U! The Improv Academy take the stage for an improvised show featuring a Go U! Student randomly selected from students at the show.

Nine years of original comedy
In the fall of 2008 the former Ferndale Secretary of State office was transformed into Go Comedy! Improv Theater - a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity. Today, Go Comedy! is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 50 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition.
