After celebrating its 5th anniversary, Go Comedy!, Michigan's premier improv theater, is set to sled into the holidays with its 5th original holiday show The Worst Noel. November 21 - December 21. Tickets ($7-$20) are available now for all Go Comedy! performances online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office.

The Worst Noel
A lot can go wrong in the 36 hours before Christmas, and in The Worst Noel, Go Comedy!'s 5th annual holiday sketch revue, everything that can go wrong does. From an elf that's lost his magic to a robbery during Midnight Mass to Santa getting stuck at the border, sometimes it takes more than a Christmas Miracle to keep the holidays on track. The Worst Noel is written & performed by Melissa Beckwith, Rj Cach, Joe Hingelberg, PjJacokes, Suzan Jacokes, and Travis Pelto and is directed by Bryan Lark, all of Ferndale, The show runs Thursday-Friday at 8:00pm November 21 - December 21. Tickets ($15 Thursday, $20 Friday & Saturday) are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net.

Frosty
It has been ten years since the children from the small town of Armonk have seen their friend Frosty the snowman. And now they are home from college, on winter break, during the first snow fall of the season. Frosty returns from the North Pole to find the kids have grown up into young adults and things are not quite as simple as they once were. This original late night show is written by Erik Heilner & Andrew Seiler and features Bree Corcoran, Heilner, Amber Hunt, Carrie Parmenter, Jake Russel and Seiler and is directed by Tommy LeRoy. Frosty appears Thursday evenings at 10:00pm December 5, 12 & 19. Tickets ($10) are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net.

Five Years of Go Comedy!
Go Comedy is the brainchild of Pj Jacokes, Gerald Knight, Chris DiAngelo and Tommy LeRoy. The departure of The Second City from the Detroit area and closure of Ann Arbor's Improv Inferno left a community of talented improvisers without a creative home. Having fallen in love with improv at the Improv Inferno, Knight approached Jacokes, DiAngelo and LeRoy with the opportunity to start their own theater. In 2007 the former Secretary of State office in Ferndale became available and the team began work. A year later, Go Comedy! Improv Theater opened its doors and became a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity, three principles that have directed the theater through its first five years and beyond. Today, Go Comedy! is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 30 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition, and occasionally someone trying to renew their drivers' license.
