Gladys Knight to Perform at the Fox Theatre, 6/7

Seven-time Grammy Award-winner Gladys Knight will perform at the Fox Theatre on Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m. with special guest Ledisi.

Knight began her career as lead vocalist of Gladys Knight & The Pips; with whom she recorded recognizable hits such as "Every Beat of My Heart," "I Heard it Through the Grapevine," and "Midnight Train to Georgia." She has since gone on to record more than 38 albums and recently ended a critically-acclaimed four-year engagement at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

Grammy-nominated R&B singer Ledisi is known for her jazz influenced vocals. Since her debut album "Soulsinger: The Revival", Ledisi has garnered endless recognition for her catalogue of award-winning albums to include "Feeling Orange But Sometimes Blue," "Lost and Found" and "Turn Me Loose". Ledisi's fifth studio album, "Pieces of Me," earned her three Grammy Award-nominations for "Best R&B Album," "Best R&B Performance" and "Best R&B Song".
