Easpointe's Broadway Onstage Holds Auditions for GOD OF CARNAGE and More, 5/22-23

BROADWAY ONSTAGE LIVE THEATRE Broadway Onstage Live Theatre invites interested parties to audition for its upcoming shows. Located at 21517 Kelly Rd. Eastpointe, MI 48021, the theatre can be reached through its ticket and Information hotline at (586) 771-6333 or via email at bonstage@aol.com.

Auditions will be held for THE GREAT AMERICAN SEX FARCE (to play July 20 - August 18), THE GOD OF CARNAGE (to play September 7 - October 6) and DIAL "M" FOR MURDER, (running October 19 - November 17). Auditions are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, May 22 and 23, at 7:30pm each evening at the Broadway Onstage Live Theatre.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

THE GREAT AMERICAN SEX FARCE - 3 men, 2 women required ages 25-45, also 1 man and 1 woman aged 55-65

THE GOD OF CARNAGE - 2 men and 2 women (2 couples) aged 30-45

DIAL "M" FOR MURDER - 5 men, 1 woman most aged 25-35. 2 of the men could be of any age.

Broadway Onstage is a non-Equity theatre. There is no contract. Payment is $30 per performance. There is no payment for the rehearsal period. There are generally at least 10 performances of each production. Actors are asked to fill out a W-4 form and are considered part-time employees.

Auditionees are asked to bring a prepared monologue no longer than 2 minutes in length. The monologue need not be memorized. Cold readings will also be held from the various scripts.

REHEARSAL DATES:

THE GREAT AMERICAN SEX FARCE - Generally, Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm beginning Wednesday, May 30 with Tech Week July 16, 17, 18. Show dates Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, select Sundays at 2pm - 7/20/2012 through 8/18/2012. Select Sundays are only performed when a prearranged group of 30 or more is scheduled to attend.

THE GOD OF CARNAGE - Generally, Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning the week of July 23, with Tech Week September 4, 5, 6. Show dates Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, select Sundays at 2pm - 9/7/12 through 10/6/12. Select Sundays are only performed when a prearranged group of 30 or more is scheduled to attend.

DIAL "M" FOR MURDER - Generally, Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning the week of September 10, with Tech week October 15, 16, 17. Show dates Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, select Sundays at 2pm - 10/19/12 through 11/17/12. Select Sundays are only performed when a prearranged group of 30 or more is scheduled to attend.
