Bay City Players Presents LEND ME A TENOR

Bay City Players will present Ken Ludwig's Lend Me A Tenor, March 22 - 24 & 28 - 31, 2019 at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Ken Ludwig's Lend Me A Tenor is directed by Jessica McFarland.

As one of America's most popular farces, LEND ME A TENOR starts naturally enough: the Cleveland Opera will highlight this season with one performance by world-famous Tito Merelli-simply everyone will be there. However, Tito shows up with personal reasons to be upset; and in order to calm him, Max helps him out with a tranquilizer-or two. And before you know it, shy Max finds himself in opera disguise to sing Tito's role. Can he pull it off? Combine that with lingerie-clad ladies hiding in closets in order not be revealed to the press and you have a door-slamming, audience pleasing frolic.
