Barn Theatre Presents THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW, Opening 5/29
On May 29 the Barn Theatre kicks off its 66th season with THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW, a musical cabaret playing through June 3 – one week only, in the Rehearsal Shed Lounge.
THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW will feature Barn Theatre favorites, Eric Parker, Roy Brown and Emily Fleming (formerly known as Emily May Smith). This tuneful show will feature two of the Barn's newest returning Equity members Patrick Hunter and Kevin Robert White on piano, as well as showcase the 2012 Apprentice Company! Highlighting show-stopping numbers from the silver screen, The Great Big Bar Show is sure to have something for everyone. This delightful evening sails you through the early years of the cinema to the swinging 60's and the disco era along with an enchanting kid's segment! The apprentice company will also present musical previews of some of this season's upcoming blockbusters, including Pal Joey, Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer and Monty's Python's Spamalot! After spending this glorious evening at the Barn, you are sure to be humming your favorite tunes all week long!
THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW is directed by Hans Friedrichs. The musical director is Kevin Robert White. Michael Wilson Morgan is the Costume Designer. Lights are designed by Frank Vela. Technical Direction is by Fred Gillette.
THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW plays through June 3. Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 8:00 PM, Saturday at 8:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 5:00 PM. Enjoy refreshments, snacks, wings and nachos throughout the show. COMING SOON! *New this season in the Shed* cool off while enjoying the show with some delicious ice cream, served right in the Rehearsal Shed!
The Barn Theatre is located on M-96, west of Augusta. Tickets are $20.00 for all performances of THE GREAT BIG BAR SHOW, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
