The Barn Theatre brings earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and unforgettable songs of the 70s in DISASTER! This campy, side-splitting homage to classic disaster films runs just ONE WEEK August 28 - September 2.

It's 1979, and New York's hottest A-listers are lining up for the opening of a floating casino and discotheque. Also attending is a faded disco star (second year apprentice Abbey Brooks), a sexy nightclub singer (Samantha Rickard) with her eleven-year-old twins (both portrayed by Braeden Davis), a disaster expert (Hans Friedrichs), a feminist reporter (second year apprentice Rachel Mahar) an older couple (Charlie King and Penelope Alex), pair of young guys who are looking for ladies (Jamey Grisham and second-year apprentice Eric Fredrickson), an untrustworthy businessman (Jonnie Carpathios), and a nun with a gambling addiction (fourth year apprentice Kasady Kwiatkowska). What begins as a night of boogie fever quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to multiple disasters, such as earthquakes, tidal waves, and infernos. As the night turns into day, everyone struggles to survive and, quite possibly, repair the love that they've lost... or at least escape the killer rats.
