At the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall's Annual Salute to its Volunteer Usher Dinner on May 18th, Lorraine Rusek was celebrated for her 40 years of dedicated volunteer service to the Van Wezel. Twelve other volunteers were also recognized for their many years of service ranging from 10yrs -25 yrs. With over 250 people in attendance the Van Wezel usher party was a huge success. "Lorraine Rusek is one of the most professional, dignified ladies I know, who is extremely gracious and delightful to work with" says Ann Bergeron, Head Usher at the Hall. Everyone in attendance had a great time with food donated by Michael's On East and beverages supplied by the Van Wezel Foundation. The Van Wezel ushers provided a beautiful selection of deserts.

In conjunction with the usher's party, the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall will also be celebrating its 40th year anniversary January 5th 2010.
