Storybook Theater Company Holds Auditions For BABES IN TOYLAND 10/5, 10/6

Babes In Toyland Auditions:  October 5 & 6 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM

Needed adults and students for a LARGE cast holiday show: Babes In Toyland. Performance dates: December 10, 11, 12, & 13.

Performance location: Sands Theater Center. Please come prepared with a short song and memorized monologue. For more information email Storybook@sandstheatercenter.com

The Sands Theater Center (STC) is a performing arts company focused on providing quality entertainment, cultural enrichment and educational programming for over 25 years.

STC was incorporated in 1985 and originated from the Storybook Theater Company, which was established in 1981. For the past 22 years, Sands Theater Center has provided countless opportunities to involve and integrate the talents of our diverse community, creating dynamic events in which everyone in West Volusia can take part and pride in.

Since opening its doors, STC through its many divisions, has produced as many as 17 shows a season. The combined performances reach over 30,000 people a year throughout Central Florida. STC also co-produces the Fall Festival of the Arts each November in downtown Deland. The weekend event draws almost 60,000 people per year.

Operating on an approximate $500,000 annual budget, the organization employees four full-time employees, four part-time employees and provides an average of 67 contractor positions for the organizations annual theatrical production work.
