STOMP At Van Wezel Hosts A 'Stomp Off' Between 2 Sarasota High Schools 4/10, 11

STOMP - the theatrical sensation that creates rhythmic music with instantly recognizable objects- hits the stage at the Van Wezel this Friday (8 p.m.) and Saturday (2 p.m. and 8 p.m.).
Gathering inspiration from this infectious and energetic show, two Sarasota High Schools will showcase their own "Stomp-Off" at 7 p.m. Friday. Southeast High School and Booker High School will demonstrate their pulsating prowess in the in the promenade adjacent to the parking lot at the Van Wezel.

STOMP...is explosive, provocative, sophisticated, sexy, utterly unique and appeals to audiences of all ages. Created by Luke Cresswell and Steven McNicholas, the international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews, and has appeared on numerous national television shows.
