David Hirson to Participate in Asolo Rep Panel 1/22
David Hirson, author of the multiple Tony Award-nominated play, "La Bête", will visit Sarasota's Asolo Repertory Theatre to attend their production and participate in a panel discussion with director, Michael Donald Edwards and actor Danny Scheie on January 22nd after the 2 p.m. matinee. The event is open to the public; and members of the press are invited to attend, cover the panel discussion, and set interviews during Hirson's Asolo Rep visit.
According the Asolo Rep press office, "David Hirson, author of La Bête, will be here from Jan. 21-24, 2011. During his visit, he will enjoy the full "Rep Experience." He will arrive at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, and will attend the opening night of "Boeing Boeing", including a pre-show cocktail and dinner party with the artists, Asolo Rep sponsors and staff. He will also attend the Saturday, Jan. 22nd matinee of "La Bête" and participate in the post-show panel discussion at about 4:15 p.m., along with Michael Donald Edwards and Danny Scheie. He will then attend the Saturday evening performance of "Twelve Angry Men". Though his time will be limited, Mr. Hirson is available for interviews on Sunday. He will depart Monday the 24th at approximately 12:15 p.m."
