Eclectic and exciting ….high kicks from one of Broadway's all time "gypsy" heroines; the beloved cartoon tyke who became larger than life when she hit the stage to enchant audiences with her optimistic hope for "Tomorrow;" a teen-age movie star all grown-up to play one of the great vamps in musical comedy history; a gaggle of entertainers who rocked the world with their wild antics and brilliant show biz talents; and a certified blast from a dynamic company of dancers frequently airborne to the tunes of one of America's most gifted pop songsmiths, are announced as the dazzling menu of musical hits scheduled for the Stanford Group Company Broadway Across America-Palm Beach 2006-2007 five-production subscription series to be presented at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

ANNIE

October 17 – 22, 2006 Leapin' lizards! ANNIE is coming to Palm Beach. The timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie is back, giving a whole new generation the chance to experience this classic musical about never giving up hope. Boasting one of Broadway's most memorable scores, including "It's the Hard-Knock Life," "Easy Street," "N.Y.C." and the ever-optimistic "Tomorrow," ANNIE is a delightful theatrical experience for the entire family. Don't miss this all-new production that Variety calls "a winner!"  

THE RAT PACK LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS

November 7 – 12, 2006

The Rat Pack is the hottest and coolest party in town. Still going strong after four sensational years on London's West End, this spectacular new musical production is now coming to you. Legendary entertainers Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Dean Martin are celebrated live, on stage. It's Las Vegas, it's the Sands Hotel, the big band is swingin', and those gorgeous Burelli Sisters are singin', and of course the three wisecracking hip-cats bring their inimitable magic to the finest music ever recorded: "I've Got You Under My Skin", "That's Amore", "Mr. Bojangles", "The Lady Is A Tramp". You won't find anything like it anywhere else. It's the Rat Pack – and it's live! Ring-a-ding-ding!

Movin' Out  January 9 – 14, 2007 

Five-time Grammy winner Billy Joel and legendary director and choreographer Twyla Tharp have joined forces to create the spectacular new musical Time Magazine declares "The #1 show of the year!" The New York Times calls MOVIN' OUT "a shimmering portrait of an American generation. These tornado driven dancers and rock musicians propel the audience into delirious ovations." MOVIN' OUT the Tony® Award-winning new musical, brings 24 Billy Joel classics to electrifying new life as it tells the story of five life-long friends over two turbulent decades. It all adds up to one unforgettable Broadway musical.

SWEET CHARITY starring Molly Ringwald 

March 6 – 11, 2007

Do you want to have fun? Then just dance on over to SWEET CHARITY, the Broadway musical that offers fun, laughs, good times...and that's coming here, starring the sensational Molly Ringwald. The star of Broadway's CABARET and such memorable films as The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, and Sixteen Candles. Ms. Ringwald takes center stage as Charity Hope Valentine, who's a true original, eternal optimist...and the unluckiest romantic in New York City. SWEET CHARITY'S tuneful score (by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields) features such hits as "Hey, Big Spender," "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This" and "If My Friends Could See Me Now." And the show features a hilarious book by none other than Neil Simon. USA Today hailed this new production as "exhilarating" and "a real kick." And the Wall Street Journal called "a blast!"
