American Stage Theatre Co's Susan R. Hough Cabaret and After Hours Announce Sept Schedule

American Stage Theatre Company's Susan R. Hough Cabaret and "After Hours" series in the Raymond James Theatre has amended its September schedule of events affecting THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, THE DUMB SHOW (now 321), JAYNE SINGS: MY TRIBUTE TO LENA HORNE and JAZZ ON THIRD (now BROADWAY ON THIRD).

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES
"After Hours" Series
August 27 and 28 at 10:30 p.m.
August 29 and 30 at 7 p.m.
September 27 at 7 p.m. (only one performance in September)

All tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" at the door and $15 in advance.

Obie Award-winner Eve Ensler's whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."

321 (replaces THE DUMB SHOW)

A world premiere from the minds of Hawk & Wayne, the creators of THE DUMB SHOW, comes American Stage's new long-form comedy improvisation show, 321. Starting with the audience suggestions of 3 character relationships, 2 improvisors will create a piece that takes place in 1 location. Gavin Hawk and Ricky Wayne weave all of these elements into a hilarious, amazing, and poignant one-act play that is sure to delight the audience

A witty and playful jazz filled concert featuring songs made popular by the unforgettable stage, television and film actress, Lena Horne. Jayne Trinette is a singer, actor and songwriter from Tampa seen on Broadway and National Tours of THE LION KING and CAROLINE, OR CHANGE. Other regional credits include AIN'T MISBEHAVIN, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, NUNCRACKERS, PURLIE, THE WIZ, and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. She also starred in last fall's smash hit FENCES.

BROADWAY ON THIRD: "Through the Years" (replaces JAZZ ON THIRD)

Emilia Sargent returns to celebrate the passion, inspiration, life and humor of Broadway, from the Golden Age to the present.
