Cuasi canon no ortodoxo at Palacio de Bellas Artes

Cuasi canon no ortodoxo features the Quinteto de Alientos de la Ciudad de México, presenting four world premieres as part of the Jornadas INBAL-SACM on November 30, 2024, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The ensemble, comprising Asako Arai (flute), Joseph Shalita (oboe), Rafael Prado (clarinet), Wendy Holdaway (bassoon), and Cristian Cornejo (horn), will perform works by composers Eduardo Flores Contreras, Javier Compeán, Fernando Cataño, and Gina Enríquez. This concert highlights the group's commitment to promoting contemporary Mexican compositions and showcases a variety of new musical styles.
